On October 27, 2018, after a gunman killed 11 people at a synagogue Pittsburgh, Trump condemned anti-Semitism and warned anti-Semites in terms never before heard from the mouth of an American president: "Those seeking [the Jews'] destruction, we will seek their destruction."

On May 22, 2017, Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to pray at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.  

On March 21, 2016, Trump promised to move the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem if elected president.
A year later, Trump fulfilled that promise and announced the United States' recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital (on December 6, 2017).  
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released this video shortly after, thanking Trump.
Two years later, on March 25, 2019, Trump announced U.S. recognition of the Golan Heights as part of Israel.  The territory was annexed by Israel in 1981.
